Mission Statement
Our mission is to utilize the power of cinema to increase understanding of
the human realities of war and conflict.  We encourage filmmakers who foster
the process of peace and conflict resolution through their vision and their
art. Since the inception of the C & R section in 1999, the world has changed
and so has the general theme of our films. By presenting work made by
filmmakers who strive to illuminate the world around them, we hope to shed
light on new and underrepresented issues while encouraging discourse among
viewers.
