CINEMATOGRAPHY MASTER CLASS
Five time Academy Award- nominated cinematographer Allen Daviau will join us for our annual Cinematography Master Class Saturday October 20th at 12:00 in East Hampton. Hosted by Museum of the Moving Image’s Chief Curator David Schwartz, this event will provide an in depth and engaged discussion of the art of creating cinema as represented by Daviou’s stunning body of work, including E.T. (1982), THE COLOR PURPLE (1985), and BUGSY (1991). Expect to see clips from his award-winning films EMPIRE OF THE SUN (1987), AVALON (1990), and VAN HELSING (2004) in this dynamic and enlightening event.
